Artist Bio: Coralie Armstrong


Coralie Armstrong
Coralie Armstrong began painting watercolours as a child. Since then she has learned to paint in oils - her main subjects are portraits and landscapes . Her work has been exhibited at the Hahndorf Academy, Clare and The Greenhill Galleries.

In 2006 her painting won 'the works on paper' section of the Waterhouse.

Conservation Statement
"It is important to conserve wildlife for the health of the planet. We need all our native animals and insects for the part they play in keeping environmental factors in balance. Also the earth needs it sea creatures conserved to keep the oceans healthy."

Creating for Conservation
Coralie has registered to exhibit in the Creating for Conservation Art Exhibition 2012. The piece [pictured above] is representative of her art and will not necessarily be available at the Exhibition. The piece or pieces Coralie chooses to exhibit will be available for purchase at the C4C2012 Exhibition only [no online sales]. Proceeds from C4C2012 are dedicated to Chipembele WIldlife Education Trust - Zambia. Please come along on the opening night on 2nd November or over the weekend 2nd November to 4 November to see Coralie's work and that of the other fantastic contributing Artists.
