Artist Bio: Julie Morris


Julie Morris
Julie has worked in most mediums: oil, acrylics, gouache, pen and pastels, her love of drawing has won her two awards in Sydney Art Exhibitions. Many of her paintings, both from sales art exhibitions and private commissions hang in public and private collections all over the world. Julie paints from her own studio at home in Mount Barker, where she lives with her husband Gary, and their dogs.




Conservation Statement
Most of my life’s work has been in conservation. I hope for more education and an understanding of all living animals. Not only that each one has its own beauty, strength and character. I hope to see a positive difference to dwindling numbers of species in my lifetime.”

Creating for Conservation
Julie is exhibiting in the Creating for Conservation Art Exhibition 2012. The pieces [pictured] are representative of her work. The pieces Julie chooses to exhibit will be available for purchase at the C4C2012 Exhibition only [no online sales]. Proceeds from C4C2012 are dedicated to Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust - Zambia. Please come along on the opening night on 2nd November or over the weekend 2nd November to 4th November to see Julie’s work and that of the other fantastic contributing Artists.
