A lioness in the South Luangwa Valley, Zambia with a wire snare set during illegal poaching activity |

After getting engaged to my Zimbabwean born husband, I moved my life as a corporate head-hunter in London to the African Bush. This change of direction turned into a bigger adventure shift when I discovered my passion for designing jewellery. I now combine my previously untapped passion for creativity with a desire to create a positive impact.

"Conservation for me is about preserving the natural beauty of the world whilst adapting to humans incessant need to move forward and grow. By combining creativity with business and values I have joined action with spiritual and personal fulfilment, bringing people together harmoniously to improve the environment while driving me forward to be ambitious."
There are multiple pieces of this unique jewellery available at Creating for Conservation Art Exhibition 2012.
Five dollars from the sale of each piece is donated to Anti-Snare patrols, helping to prevent the devastating affects snare poaching has on Zambia's unique wildlife. Our aim is to raise enough funds to sponsor the annual cost of Anti-Snare patrols run by the South Luangwa Conservation Society in partnership with the Zambian Carnivore Programme.

Our aim is to raise enough funds ($6300) to sponsor the annual cost of Anti-Snare
patrols run by the South Luangwa Conservation Society in partnership with
the Zambian Carnivore Programme.
To raise the $6300 target to assist the anti-snare programme we need your help. By stocking the Snare Wire Jewellery in your shop you will be helping to achieve this goal.
Mulberry
Mongoose employs local women from Mfuwe to make the jewellery and uses organic
materials from the African bush, such as hand carved wooden beads, to ensure
each piece is uniquely Zambian.
All jewellery comes with a label explaining the ethics behind the jewellery and a locally made gift bag.
For
retailers we provide an A5 laminated flyer for your shop describing why the
Snare Wire Jewellery is so important.
